Biography

Ruinside is a speed/ thrash/ heavy metal band from Tampere, Finland. Current status of Ruinside is unsigned (hopefully not very long).

The band was formed in the beginning of the year 2005 by Jankkari, Kylätie and Lehtiö. Ruinside has made two demo recordings and two promo EP records during past five years. The first demo was released only in the internet and it included three songs. The second one, Void of Horror, also included three songs and it was released in CD-format. After this record the band vocalist changed and Ruinside was taking the fresh start.

First promo EP, To Only Kill for Sport, was made in year 2008 and it included four songs. This record got pretty good reviews in the internet. The latest record saw daylight in October 2009. The name of the EP is Rise Up! ...to Extermination? and it's telling a story about Aztecs. This 3-track masterpiece was made in co-operation with Jussi Kulomaa who partly produced the record by sharing his knowledge and vision.

Lyrics of Ruinside are basically based on real life; current or past. Some of lyrics describe the present-day life and some of them are telling a story about historical events. Either way, both of the styles describe insane human behaviour in different forms.

Ruinside has made a whole bunch of gigs and it has a strong intention to keep on thrashing on stages. Ruinside live performance is energetic and full of adrenaline (ask anyone who have seen the show). You can check out the present gig situation here Gigs.

Ruinside is now aiming for gigs and promotion of the new EP. If you are interested in seeing a fine thrash metal show, you propably should get your ass to the Ruinside live appearance.
